re: If you don't think Moo State is a top 10 team, you're crazy.

Why? I'm going by what I saw during game 1, and MSU isn't a top 10 team because of their defense. The logic isn't that difficult to understand. If the D significantly improves week 1 to week 2, I certainly think MSU is worthy.

Wouldn't you reserve judgement using your logic as those two players being in the game will be the norm and not the exception?

No. Because I'm going by what happened in week 1 to judge if they deserve to be in the top 10. IMO, they don't with the defense they displayed. After next week, it could be a completely different situation.

Personally, I think the top three teams in the west are Bama, LSU, and Arkansas (not necessarily in that order). However, I think MSU is perfectly capable of beating anybody in this conference, including those three. I really enjoyed their play in that Memphis game. They looked to be well prepared, and very physical.

Yeah right. They're not going to lose 4-5 when they play in the east.

Nope. I just don't see how state could beat a muschamp Defense.

Florida is a 2-4 loss team. Depending on how well we're playing that given week.

I hate it when no one realizes that after the first week the rust tends to wear off and the proper adjustments are made. Teams get better in week two. Using a week one performance as a measuring stick is unwise. Especially if that week one team is the likes of Memphis State.

I wouldn't hand one to SC just yet. They weren't exactly impressive either last night.

I'm going off on last year + this year with Florida. I'm just not a Brantley fan and their WR corps to me is a big ? I see a lot of track stars on their roster-just not many great football players.
