I would get rid of the Huggies scary people and the Missouri toothless tigers. They are detrimental to our fabulous conference. In their place I would take Texas and Clemson. Oklahoma is not going to go anywhere without Oklahoma State and that presents a problem.

GeorgiaFloridaAuburnTennessee replaced with duke.

I just don't think Missouri fits or ever will fit. I feel like the only people who showed up the day we voted on Missouri were people from Arkansas.
I'm not even really insulting them, it's just that the huge swath of the conference has no ties/interests whatsoever to the state, and that doesn't apply in the same way to other considered states (Texas, NC, etc.).

The Aggies will go in place of Texas Tech. The true college of Texas.

What does tech bring to the table now (serious)? Their football team sucks and has a ton of people transferring out. Basketball is good, for now, but they will return to mediocrity. Their last big championships were the 95 NIT, and 2006 bass fishing.
Atleast that’s all I can remember

They were good in football for a while and that’s what everyone remembers.

What is the rationale for Texas in the SEC? Money?
Personally, I think the most important metric is geography. If the school isn't located in the southeast, it's not a possibility. Austin, Texas is not southeastern at all, and the people from there would agree unanimously. College Station is a push, but East Texas is a slightly better fit.

They bring quality Texas talent, are well rounded in all three sports, they’re rich, and they’re not gay.

SEC schools pull TX talent on their own
Great academics, decent athletic program, but they should be better in the big three sports considering how much money they have IMO

Not a bad idea at all.
Around these parts, when people think “top universities,” “exceptional football,” and “movers and shakers,” the Red Raiders of Texas Tech always top the list.
Guns up.
