DVH is an incredible coach. Our best team in the last ten years didn’t make it to Omaha either. Key to baseball for teams not named LsU o USC is to go a lot and win some

No one saw AR coming in 2018.
No one saw NC State coming this year.

It takes more than just being the best team to win the CWS.

There's not an AD or team in the country that wouldn't take DVH except maybe Vandy. And even that's debatable. Who knows how he'd do with Vandy recruiting privileges.

Baseball is peaks and valleys. Arkansas peaked going into the Florida series and regressed during the regional. NCST improved at the end of the year and peaked at the right time.

Looking back, it was very impressive they kept a consistent peak during the whole conference schedule that was without a set weekend rotation. That is really hard to do in this league if not almost unheard of.

I think it is impressive because Arkansas has yet to find a starting totation after 2018. After that, it has been a struggle and yet DVH was able to win 10 SEC series with a limited pitching staff.

Agreed. The last couple of teams have been outstanding and I don't see that stopping with the way he recruits, including transfers.

He has upped his recruiting the last four years. Now it is consistently top 5-10 classes and before 15-25.
