All depends on how A&M finishes. We have more spots and are in the final rounds for some of highest ranked players in the country. I can't see how you back into that 2022 claim.

Please do. What I remember about how it played out. aleva thought he had jimbo after the '15 season. sexton agreed to a deal with aleva/LSU. everybody and their second cousin knew les was getting let go after the '15 season. after aleva and sexton agreed on the deal sexton came back later with a higher number. aleva nixed the offer. les beat aggies and stayed put.
aleva fired les during the '16 season. any mention of jimbo was a smoke screen. aleva wanted no part of sexton/jimbo. wouldn't even talk to them. aleva was all in on herman. herman wanted texas. texas had their head coach and planed on retaining him till texas booster forced the longhors higher ups into action saying hermann and LSU had agreed to a contract. horns fired their coach and hired herman. aleva then offered the job to EdO.

LSU had jimbo/sexton coming to LSU at end of the '15 season while he was still at FSU. Both parties had agreed on a deal. Then sexton came back for more money and aleva was having none of it. I do believe that end of '15 season precedes october of '16.
