Which of the following schedules would you say was more difficult? It's a 2 game schedule to make it easy.
Team A plays against #49 and #50.
Team B plays against #1 and #130.
How would you grade the difficulty of these 2 schedules and why?

How often does team SEC rinse and repeat this argument?
Same bs heard last year against UT. I hate standing up for ATM here but what is ATM supposed to do? They beat who’s in front of them and won their road games. Did they get lucky? Absolutely but if they are pretenders then they will lose in the conference title game handily. If not, and they win that game than it validates their season

In fairness to them, they did go outside of the SEC and played the #9 ranked team in the country. It's not like they are running from competition.

I haven’t made a single claim that Bama is better than A&M. Maybe we are; maybe we aren’t. I give us a 65% chance that we lose to either OU or AU, so we are more likely to play the SECCG with 2 losses than 1. Even if Bama had somehow won that FSU game, we’d still be very realistic about OU’s additional week of preparation and AU’s JH voodoo. All of us over the age of 35 knows what it is like to be on top and what it’s like to be in the ditch having 4 coaches in 4 years. This isn’t our first rodeo.
A&M on the other hand, is clearly showing they don’t know how to act when on top. All the “FSU,” “insecure,” or “common opponent” comments are absolutely hilarious. A&M is like a bratty kid that got a new toy at Christmas and thinks they’re big stuff. You’re setting yourselves up for another epic crash and looking like fools if you lose in Austin and miss Atl, or crash out in the CFP. I’m not saying it will happen, but it absolutely could. You have to be the best team in your state before being the best at anything else. And that hasn’t been true for several years now….baby steps, A&M. If you want to be winners, act like winners.
