TE as well, and possibly OL.

Like by hiring a coach that knows what he’s doing?

You keep using the term “luck” and I’m confident you don’t know what it means. Is winning 12 games with all but 1 of them being blowouts lucky all of a sudden?

Not like we do, no.

Auburn DID succeed the first time with a healthy team. And their offense isn't anywhere near what ours is.

They're loaded with NFL personnel in the front seven. Is OU?

Yeah we got plenty of NFL personnel in the front 7. Who do you think you're talking too?

Well... if you're grading on potential, it may be a contest, but from a pure production/output standpoint, their TE has easily outproduced all of our TEs combined in the receiving game at least...

906 yards - 15.6/reception - 8TDs - Mark Andrews

compared to

224 yards - 11.7/reception - 2 TDs - combined from Nauta, Blazevich, Harris, and Woerner

As much as I have enjoyed giving a dose of reality to the Georgia faithful here, you can't possibly believe OU has even a marginal defense. The ONLY chance you have is if you can outscore them.

The only way Oklahoma even has a chance is if they sell out on the run and hope to god their DBs are okay with being on an island. Georgia will move the ball, 100%, so will Oklahoma. Neither team should feel confident that they'll stop the other, and even if they do it'll be an anomaly.

It might just be me but I feel like this Oklahoma team is like Oklahoma teams in the past. They get to the big game and they show that they didn't belong in the first place.

Don't act like you could even compete with AU defensively! OU very well might win, but it would be because Mayfield rose up to the occasion. UGA talent wise is miles ahead of OU. OU might be able to slow down the run for the 1st quarter, but look for Chaney to make some adjustments and for Fromm to start throwing a lot more. Our receivers and TEs are underrated and will kill OU's secondary on Monday.

Just my opinion, but I think the unanimous All-American and Mackey Award winner is preferable to anyone else.

And so it begins....a little bit of backlash and UGA starts to back down.

I thought they'd have to actually lose for this to happen.

I'm disappointed.

We're going to force you out of your gameplan, like I've said repeatedly on here.

Bless your heart. Just because you keep repeating it does not make it so.

So your plan is to stop the run and allow Fromm to throw on your small weak pass D

Game planning to push us towards the weakest part of OU's game. I like it idots

How is this backing down? The realistic fans on this board aren't predicting that we somehow waltz through the playoffs big dicking our way to 20 point wins... we're a top 4 team with a chance to win it all... I'll take it. We also have a freshman QB, an OL that has outperformed its talent level, and a defense that while it has been exceptional at times has had its own share of struggles. I think we matchup well against Oklahoma, but Baker IS a fricking Heisman winning QB for a reason... No clue how we'll match up against the winner of Clemson/Bama... just hope you frickers beat the shite out of each other for 60 minutes...

OU doesn't need to field an "SEC defense", just one good enough to get a couple of defensive stops each half.
If this happens, the Sooners win.
Mayfield and the O are going to get their points.

Georgia will need to score on almost every offensive possession they get to stay in the game.

So I'm getting the perception that Georgia fans are ecstatic to be in a game this big and meaningful since....well, a long, long time. I would say , if your team has that mentality, that's usually a recipe for disaster. It's not enough to just be happy to get there and Oklahoma will show you no newbie mercy. Good luck.

Don't use words that you don't know...

Hominy - Hominy is a food produced from dried maize kernels that have been treated with an alkali, in a process called nixtamalization

Ad Hominem - latin for to the man/person...
