That and CFP committee basically told the rest of the FSU squad “your results dont matter”

They said, "without your qb you aren't one of the best four teams." And it's true. Aw, shucks.

If he didn't break his leg he would get in but the chances of FSU beating any of the teams without him is slim to none so there is no point in including FSU. This is still a business at the end of the day.

The false equivocations here are relentless. Again, the committee left FSU out of the playoff because ONE of their players suffered a season ending injury. NOT because they lost a game. Which is just ridiculous imo. YMMV

Not really ridiculous. If you got 5 power conferences and 4 spots, you owe it to your fans to put in the 4 best teams. FSU is not one of the 4 best teams right now.

Michigan’s watch party literally groaned when they drew Alabama instead of a gimped FSU team. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know, I don’t know what will.

You can say that but you could have said that last year when Bama was excluded after TCU lost a game and didn't drop and two other teams ahead of Bama lost as well. No one has a problem last year so there should be no problem this year.

Thats a good point about the 4 conf and 5 slots. The whole thing is just whacked imo. Cant wait for the expansion.

I mean, false equivalence is saying they lost "one" of their players, as if QB isn't far and away the most important position on the field. It's not like they lost a linebacker, come on.

So we cherry-pick our data instead of investigating all of it to come to a logical conclusion.
That's how Bama got picked. They said because the sec had been in every playoff and FSU's QB got hurt. Nothing about the bad games of Bama's with their starters. Plus all I named. The bad way outweighs the good (beat UGA and that's it).

Glad the committee looked at *all* the $$$$. Enjoy watching Bama on Jan 1st.
I will. I'll also enjoy the "Bama doesn't belong" and them getting trashed for the rest of the year too. Then if they don't win both games they will be stamped as the team that didn't belong and possibly proof the sec is overrated they have always wanted. Maybe even someone breaking espn and the committee over cheating.

If Travis doesnt break his leg….
….do the rest of his teammates get a shot at the title? Serious question.

The available personnel question is only the #5 data point. #2 is SOS. His broken leg doesn't change the fact that their SOS is only #55 and Bama's is #5.

Same here. A lot of these problems solve themselves with the 5 auto-bid / 7 at-large scheme. What I’m worried about is the committee based seeding fricking the SEC over by making sure we knock each other off. Remember all this postseason reconfiguration comes from wanting to give the lesser than conferences a better shot at winning it all.

If Colt McCoy doesn't get injured ...

If John Metchie hadn't been hurt ...

If wishes and buts were candy and nuts ...
