Would the Horns want a rematch to say we got beat TWICE by the Dawgs our 1st year in the SEC?

With the strong potential to lose 3 times to Georgia in one season

So out of curiosity.. what do you think the committee does with Texas and Georgia.. and Oregon and Ohio State.. if they all meet in the CCG's?

Each side has 6 teams..

Do they setup the 3match's in the finals or before that?

Semifinals
Texas vs Oregon
Georgia vs Ohio State

or

Texas vs Georgia
Oregon vs Ohio State

Not saying it's going to happen this year, but it probably will at some point, and there's a decent chance this year.

They swap them. A 3pete could still happen but only in the ship

To have a puncher's chance of winning the conference? Of course. You take that every day and twice on Sunday as a new member of the league.

No shame in losing to you guys. I think you're a top 4 team with a very legitimate shot to win it all.

agreed, Georgia has a solid club.. especially if the team we played shows up again.. I haven't seen that Georgia team play all season..

We can beat Georgia.. but beating them twice will be tough.. that's my concern with playing them in the SEC CG.

Can you imagine the melt if they beat us in the regular season, beat us in the SEC CG, then lost in the NC?

I believe they’ll set the brackets & how they play out is how they’ll play out.

That’s some dream, cowboy. I can’t even imagine that happening.

If Ewers plays and y'all beat him again, I could see Sark going to Arch in a 3rd match to switch things up.. and maybe having a mobile QB switches things up.. It was just 1 series, but he did some good things in the last game.. and some bad things..

What good things? All I remember is Arch getting his head handed to him and looking like a deer in the headlights.

Last time we played, Georgia won the 1st half, Texas won the 2nd half.

Looks like a trend to me. Let's have another go.

2nd series

Arch Manning run for 21 yds to the TEX 41 for a 1ST down
Arch Manning pass complete to Jaydon Blue for 3 yds to the TEX 44
Arch Manning pass complete to Jaydon Blue for 8 yds to the UGA 48 for a 1ST down

it went south from there, but those were 3 positive plays in a row, and we hadn't had many of those at that point..

Ewers had 6 series in the 1st half - 2 first downs
Manning had 2 series in the 1st half - 3 first downs

Not saying he was good.. but he was definitely better than Quinn.

That performance falls squarely at the feet of our offensive line. There was no excuse for their pitiful play that night.
I can't imagine they could do that to us again but I'm not counting the aggie game as a sure win so I'm not even thinking about that right now.

Quinn was awful but it wasn't the first time he's been awful. It just looked worse because the OL was so bad.

Based on the film study I watched, some of it fell on the OL, but a lot of it fell on the RB's not picking up the blitz..

This has nothing to do with that.. I know for certain that Sark and Texas players are focused on A&M.. A&M can 100% win this game.. I don't care if they are 0-11 or 11-0.. they have the talent to win the game..

It was a shite show. The blame fell on most of the offense. I came away impressed with the defense. They never stopped fighting even with the horrible situations they offense kept handing them.

My Gawd! THREE positive plays. WOW!, Crown UTa national champs right now. Forget the SECCG and the playoffs. No need to play any more games. Arch had THREE positive plays!
I loved that photo of your 2 QBs sitting on the sidelines looking like they had just witnessed a nuclear explosion. Fear and shock were all over them. Welcome to the SEC, cowboy.
And here’s another thing to chew on - UGA didn’t play well that day and still destroyed y’all. Wait until Georgia is playing like they can. It’s gonna be something to behold
