You've said this a couple times now. You do realize they won the East while you have had Butch, right? I mean, I agree with what you are saying, but you don't seem to grasp the fact that you are still going through one of the worst coaches ever.

For Mizzou it is simple. Hold serve against tenny, wait for UGA to burst into flames...and viola...East Champs for a third year in a row.

UGA is the fav on paper. Paper don't mean crap.

Beyond desperate vols are getting real old.

One of these have found a way to shoot themselves in the foot at least 1 game a year since the 80's. At some point you just expect 10 wins and crushed dreams.

Butch inherited one of the worst raging fires ever seen in college football.

Between Phil Fulmer driving the bus into the ditch by trying to ride his laurels, Lane kiffin setting it on fire, and Derek Doofus pouring gas on it for three years. We were in sad, sad shape.

Leslie went 8-5 with all that talent.

Right! That is why even though Pinkie the Booze Hound had two straight SECCG appearances to sell, Butch still recruited circles around him.

Butch is righting the ship. Soon you will be little more than a tune-up game for the post-season.

First off, I like Tenn, have no prob with them whatsoever. With that being said, and your star recruiting classes, exactly how many wins has that produced against Mizzou?

What you fail to realize is Pinkel is a genius when it comes to finding under the radar gems and coaching them up.

Fruition of recruiting class aren't seen immediately. This year is the the first time we will rely on mostly Butch guys, with a few Dooley folks sprinkled in. The results will speak for themselves

I totally understand that, but it takes more than a great recruiter to turn a program around. It also takes a good to great coach and the jury is certainly out on whether Butch is one or not.

True. Butch had a lot of success at CMU and Cincinnati, so it's not like he had a similar resume to Dooley when we hired him. Obviously the SEC is a different animal. But the first and most important task Butch had was revamp the roster.
He's done that and now we think we have a winning QB, which is the 2nd thing you need.
We'll see.

You need to lay off that jug. Butchy has run aground and listing badly as water rises. He has been back pedaling a lot lately..."we're the youngest team in the country and we aren't where we need to be yet" and the process thingy. He knows the hillbillies are waiting for the payoff....got news flash for ya...it aint coming. He has done some very good recruiting for the next coach you hire.

Some of you smart folks need to ask Butchy...well, if we aren't where we need to be yet...where in the hell are we?

You folks are suffering from the curse of Fulmer. He has taken black cat bone powder, skin of toad, the nectar of bat spit and the sweat from Mannings jock strap....boiled and poured on Neylands field.

11 in a row....dontcha hate it?

This is true. He sat on his arse riding his laurels and damn near destroyed the program he built into a championship winning powerhouse.

Hamilton gave Fulmer an Eight Is Enough contract (8 wins = raise and extension), and Fulmer took a seat and cashed the checks.

Kiffin is the best thing that ever happened to Fulmer. It gave him a scapegoat.

Mizzoo?? Shakey QB, one RB, no d-line, way more questions than answers on that team. Besides that, their fans act like they are a dynasty after winning the east when both UF and UT have went through the crappiest coaches ever. Nah. Mizzoo about to get knocked into reality. If it's possible with that torrid fan base.
