Doesn’t matter, it is what it is, LSU is the better team overall, but not that day and that day is what counted...

I agree with you,all of these geniuses that have the whole season figured out after 2 weeks of football. That's why we have a 10 game schedule so that teams have to actually play each other. I believe we are in for a few more surprises before it's all said and done.

State got very lucky they caught LSU as the first game.

That's true. It's not like LSU had years of film on Mike Leach's teams that would have shown the most effective way to stop his offense.

*If* Bo Pelini even watched the Arkansas defense shutter MSU he was sitting there mumbling “what is this dark magic defense they’re running ?!”

Would we play zone or stick with man to man? If we stick with man, no we don’t. Leach’s team carved up man coverage. I still don’t know why the frick Pelini didn’t have some installed at all

Pelini not coming out of man defense against that offense...Wow. Could Coach O not have gotten in his ear during the game.

Did Pelini learn how to stop a crossing route? If so, you might be on to something.

It would depend on Pelini's stubborn arse going to a zone, or staying with man-to-man (though admittedly man-to-man might still work with Stingley in there and Glen Logan pass rushing on the D-Line -both of whom were out against State.)

Got lucky? Y'all were terrible. Game should've been a blow out. Miss St. Kicked your arse.

Yes and if Stingley and Logan would have played, it WOULD have been a blowout - for LSU......

I dont necessarily agree. Hard to say we would win. I don't think we'd get completely torched for 600 and lose by 10. But a different game for sure. It's amazing what 1 week of tape can do for a defense though.

Leach has years of tape. Pittman has stated he and Odom watched tape of Washington against Leach and copied them.
