like i said didn't work out in the end. he was a piece of shite for 61 years and finally the ginger took him down.
so every thing he did is based off lies, cheating and some of the worst things a human could do.
saban might be an a-hole but at least he is a much better person than joe pa.

Another question is how will the Bama fanbase handle falling back.
Many Bama posters on this board, as they sit here today, seem to indicate it will not be a big deal and they are just grateful to have experienced and enjoyed the run, knowing it will come to an end.
Having been on both sides to a degree, LSU fans that have seen the rise, stay and fall, know that the fall sucks arse...and they don't handle it well at all.
I wonder if the replacement goes 10-2 for a couple of seasons without an SEC title if his head will be on the chopping block?

id suspect bama would take the come down much like they did after the bear left. Though i dont know how good of a fit his replacement was.

lsu fans are frustrated because we have maximized our rise while they let multiple titles slip through their hands.

Kirby Smart will be the replacement if he is still at Bama at the time, its really not debatable imo

and we have a retard for a coach that can't manage a clock, that adds to our frustration among other things.

Someone in line with their rich tradition of recent coaching hires.

Fans were sad to see Bear go, but there was definitely a new energy around the program starting the next season. Most fans were content with Bear retiring when he did.

Surprised there hasn't been any mention of Bill O'Brian yet. I was amazed at the job he did last season at Penn State. I guess the luster has come off a bit after how bad they have looked at times this season.

you would think so genro but my formative years of LSU football were hallman and dinardo. the ride down is not fun at all.
if the gus bus starts to rise as yall go down it would probably make it even worse.

Next year is going to be interesting. Whoever steps in at QB next season will be surrounded by a ridiculous amount talent at the skill positions. We have won 2 championships with first year starters at QB, so it isn't out of the realm of possibility. I just don't see it though.
We got the real deal in Ricky Town at QB (#1 QB) coming in after next season though.

I just looked and he lost 2 games his only season there. One was by 4 points the other by just 1.
I think one of the mid 90's Nebraska teams put a serious beat down on them one year.
Edit: Yep he lost his 1st game at MSU to Nebraska in 95 by a score of 50-10. They also had pretty bad losses to Wisconsin and LSU that year.

The only way it's not Smart being promoted, is if Saban leaves with NCAA troubles or some other scandal.
Posted on 10/28/13 at 2:24 pm to DeltaDoc
I really hope it isn't Smart.
