Saban ain't leaving. Saban runs that team. Those assistants are just there to help him and he tells them what he wants them to do. I think he wants to have more NCAA championships than anyone else and I think he just needs 2 more to surpass Bryant and I think he can do that in the next 3-5 years.

I've yet to see him make a bad hire (for the most part) so I wouldn't be worried about it if I were a Bama fan.

Wonder how it feels to sit at the end of the bar, drink a bitter beer and blame the loser mentality of the college football team that I pull for on the other school in the state?
It's not Bamas fault that you hired a one trick pony high school coach that can only beat your big rivals with Luck.
He is a loser, your team is a loser and you are a loser.

Ah, remember when Saban was terrified of Malzahn and the game had passed him by?
Now we are back to wishing and praying he will leave.
Good times.

He wasn't spectacular, but he wasn't a Tony Franklin or Scott Loeffler style disaster. I just think he was too green.

If anything, I think this will make Saban want to stay. He lives for the challenge. With coaches leaving, a new challenge is presented. I thought he might leave before the season if he won the whole deal. I no longer believe that, even if they win the title. This will change the dynamic.

Yea, he was green and he was not prepared for the intensity level of being the offensive guy in he Saban cog.
Man, we had some games where he totally lost his mind in terms of balance that season.

I am not blaming any of AU's troubles on Saban. I am merely pointing out that Saban himself doesn't "scare" AU because even without Saban bammer would still be buying Dodge Chargers, houses, jewelry and iPhones for their top recruits (and their families). They always have.

They really do live in their own little reality. It's fascinating.

It would seem if he has to go through this much transition, now would be the time to take another position since he'd have to build a new staff anyway.

There were better coaching options to bolt for in the college game and the NFL
if he was going to bail I feel like he would have done it by now
but hey who knows

If no one else wants to hire your coaches, why do you want to keep them?

Tim Cook supplying free iPhone prototypes to the Auburn coaches to give to 4 and 5 star recruits
My gosh......it was right in front of us the whole time.

Do you think Auburn hasn't been "cheating"?

He was at the game Saturday, btw. Hopefully sitting in the recruiting lounge with a large bag.

He was pretty terrible. He was let go after one year.

I'm in the red elephant club. I get to see a couple practices and eat mediocre heavy or d'oeuvres while listening to people speak. I think you're a bit of a psycho.

I love how everyone assumes that Alabama isnt a top job in the country that would attract the top coaches in the country.
The only thing that would not make this so is more sanctions.
