and they couldn't get over the hump until NIL era. It mattered.

Pretty sure Bama has 9.

3 BCS wins
3 CFP wins
3 CFP losses

Nah. They lost the 2010 National Title Game by a last second field goal.

They are about to finish in the Final AP Top 3 for this fifth time since 2000.

They have been due for a title for more than a decade now. If and when Oregon wins a title it will be because:

1. They began pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into their program starting over 20 years ago, amassing some of the nicest facilities in the sport.

2. Committed 30 years ago to investing in great coaches… Mike Belotti, Chip Kelly, Mario Cristobal, Dan Lanning, etc.

3. Played their cards right to get into one of the two major power conferences by joining the Big 10.

All of that would have WAAAYYY more to do with them winning a title than the changes that have come about in the last 3-4 seasons.

Saban had six titles. I think they only lost twice in title games (both to Clemson), but if they made it to a title game another time and lost, correct me.

Indiana would certainly show having an eye for good college talent is better than the ranking services process of ranking players. I think only about 3 of those players were big money blue chip ranked transfers.

keep moving goalposts and trying to add context but it is simple. Pre-NIL oregon was unable to win it all. If they do it this year, it made a difference.

But they were one of the 14 programs to make a title game TWICE during the National Championship Game era. So if they make it again this year, it’s not new. They were making it to the title game way before NIL. There is absolutely no denying that fact.

You’ve yet to explain to me how 2025 Ole Miss is any different than 2013 South Carolina. Both are going to finish in the Top 4. This storyline is not new.

First of all Indiana is probably going to win. Second, it sounds like you are upset the pecking order has been broken. Get used to it, and make it work for Auburn.

Reading comprehension is very difficult for you. I'll let you try that again.
