No, he will be on the hot seat once he gets FROZEN in November. He will have nothing to hold onto then, and MSU fans will start getting tired of the loud talk since he's starting to not deliver on even beating Ole Miss.

This.... but he does seem to put too much on this one game...If he goes 0-4 against their second biggest rival and 3-1 vs. his biggest.....

Anyone who has seen both teams on the field, laughs at this.

Good because I'll be the first one to bring it back up the Saturday after November.

No doubt this Egg Bowl will be completely different than anything Mullen has seen. Mullen has had it so easy the past two years with a terrible offense and Nix coached defense. The only impressive West victory Mullen has ever had was '09.

For the past week, the most popular topic on The Rant has been Gene Chizik already having one foot in the coaching grave. So if Dan Mullen loses to this sorry excuse for a football coach, then yes, he is on the hot seat.

Personally, if he doesn't win at least 8 games this year I say we put him on the hot seat. The thing of it is though, we're not at a point where we can hire anybody we want. I'd want a change, but I'd be afraid of a change for the worse.

Beating Central Arkansas after being down at half must be a huge confidence booster!
