You're correct. But his amended statement...that you have not beaten a SEC team with a winning record still stands.

I'm not a Mizzou hater, but I have to admit....that's a crazy statistic.

I just find his statement interesting because in 2011 UGA's regular season opponent SEC records were:

OM: 0-8
MissSt 2-6
UT 1-7
Vandy 2-6
UF 3-5
Auburn 4-4
Kentucky 2-6

In 2012:
Mizzou 2-6
Vandy 5-3
UT 1-7
SC 6-2
UK 0-8
UF 7-1
OM 3-5
Auburn 0-8

The point is that not many teams win their division without catching some teams when they are down.

Talking during during regular season...a much easier path to the game when you avoid the big 3.ThanKS for clearing it up for me I had no IDEA who they in SECCG...Jesus dude, you're thicker than some of these Mizzou dolts.

Actually, Georgia was #7 when they beat us in 2013[/quote

The end of the season is all that counts and that statement STIll stands. At the time you played means nothing.

[quote]They also beat Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss in 2013. They both had winning records.
They beat South Carolina, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Florida in 2014...all of these teams had winning records. (Maybe I am misunderstanding you? Did you mean winning SEC records, or winning overall records?)

Jesus,of COURSE SEC records.

I bet you are planning to vote for Killary aren't you.

You are a special person. And by that I mean your name should be Ed.

Have a nice day.

Ah! You are correct. Those were the SECCG. I'll ignore the insults you directed at me. They do nothing to promote your point, or further intelligent conversation.

Actually, you said they had not beaten a team ranked higher than #12. At the time they beat Georgia we were #7, so I stand by my statement that they have beaten a team ranked higher than #12. While I think you are correct in saying that a true teams worth is measured by how they finish, they have beaten a team ranked #12 or better. Using your logic, nobody has ever beaten the #1 ranked team, because once that team was beaten, they were not ranked #1.

Why would you say "Of course" as if we should know what you were talking about. You never said it. All you said was "winning record". If you want to discuss, then you need to learn to be more clear and say what you mean. Be clear. If you are not clear, why would you assume we would know what you are talking about?

At the time

Nobody counts "at the time" it means absolutely nothing. You think playing a team in the first game of the season that's
Ranked (say GT last year) means anything when the team you beat goes on to lose the majority of their games?

It's very simple to figure out

WTF are talking about? Many have been beaten during the regular season and ended up ranked #1.
Once, again I'm talking the end of the year final AP ranking not hard to figure out.

Absolutly correct and it helps but in "13 alone we beat LSU and SC and both had conference winning records and ended up in the top 12 but congrats to Mizzou for winning that year they were deserving.

Yes, people actually do count that.

Besides Alabama in 2011 name 3. Since "many" have had this done it shouldn't be difficult for you. Just name 3. (Besides Alabama in 2011) I'll be waiting.

That's a legitimate point, but the key word is some. And in the examples you used, Georgia did not win the SEC, either. That is the point. If the East does not win the Conference, then we feel like the division is down. When Missouri wins the East and then the Conference it will go a long way toward gaining respectability. However....that said...I STILL think the Mizzou team from 2013 was legit. You had a very good, solid team. The more I look at the season, the more respect I gain for Missouri. You will gain everybody's respect, but it will take time and you will have to show consistent success. No team will ever go into a conference and gain instant respect after a couple of years.
