and stays long term at LSU. The Miles era at LSU could be compared to that of Bryant at Bama.

Comparable with less womanizing, smoking and cheating................

Not really. Add another 10-plus years of dominating the SEC and a few more NCs.
(Dig time) And do this with the best players signed by any and all available means. And start drinking.

One of the biggest fails I've ever seen on here.

If Miles wins on 1/9/12 and repets next year (possible / likely) I think a case could be made for that compairson.

No and it's not close. Lsu would have to absolutely DOMINATE the sec for the next TEN years minimum.

WOW, a whole lotta IF in this.

i think the years of domination during the Bear's days are over in this conference. too much parity.

He's got to win 14 conference championships to go along with all of those national championships too.

Actually, his record is nearly identical to Phil Fulmer.
Phil Fulmer through first 92 games: 77-15
Les Miles through first 92 games: 75-17
After that great start, Phil Fulmer went 75-37 the rest of the way with zero SEC Championships, three SEC East division titles, zero BCS bowl game appearances and one top 10 finish. How do you like them apples?

I agree with LSUkoozie. Why all this Dick measuring with Alabama's past. You have an elite program right now. it seriously makes you look like you have an inferiority complex like the barners.

Bryant coached at Alabama for 25 years, winning six national titles (1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, and 1979)
All I am saying is if Miles wins on 1/9/12 and then in 2013 would be 3 NC's in 8 years would be compairable given the time frame, winning percentage...ect...

The first step in becoming delusional like Alabama fans....
