Terrible flame, but I'll bite.
When does Miles win his 13th SEC title?
Not a flame, and I never said anything about 13 SEC titles.
Bryant coached at Alabama for 25 years, winning six national titles (1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, and 1979)
All I am saying is if Miles wins on 1/9/12 and then in 2013 would be 3 NC's in 8 years would be compairable given the time frame, winning percentage...ect...

Bear Bryant still did far more bro.

Miles already better than Bryant. No question.

Seeing as lsu is already considered a front runner for making it to a national champ again next year and a very real chance at winning it this season i would.say the comparison to the bear is a very realistic one miles getting 3 national championships in 8 years would be.very very.impressive

This shite is literally amazing. You tards shout from the mountain tops about how Saban could never repeat what Bryant did at Alabama, because of the scholarship limits and parity in the game today. Yet, you're going to suggest that Miles can do this at LSU. The same coach a large percentage of your fanbase wanted gone heading into 2010. Hell, you're counting two national championships in this discussion before they've even happened.

No, its because Saban does not have the personality to do what Bryant did (hot head)

Yep!

Yeah, we all have idiots you should know this.

If you do not like a hypothetical discussion, GTFO, Miles has a realistic shot of achieving 2/3 of what I have been saying, 10 days from now...If he wins on 1/9/12, and 2013 he will have won 3 BCSNC in 8 years, if this were to happin he would be in elite class nationally, and yes in the Birmingham controlled SEC.

LSU is going to take these guys (Bama) to the shed!

Agree, we got Bama's best shot at there house, no way they win in N.O.

are you just wanting to have a huge number of swamp people showing up at your games, the ones who will always make sure they are featured on game day, wearing way too small purple & gold hats, for the next 50 years? be careful what you wish for....

Actually, his record is nearly identical to Phil Fulmer.
Phil Fulmer through first 92 games: 77-15
Les Miles through first 92 games: 75-17
After that great start, Phil Fulmer went 75-37 the rest of the way with zero SEC Championships, three SEC East division titles, zero BCS bowl game appearances and one top 10 finish. How do you like them apples?
How do you like these apples?
Miles’ current winning percentage of .815 at LSU is second highest in SEC history behind only that of former Tennessee coach Robert Neyland (.829).

i like how saban can be downgraded on his performance at michigan state, but cant possibly have improved in his time from lsu>miami>bama.
give it up. if miles loses the national title game this year, then chokes next year, you will want his head on a platter just like last year.

This is stupid. Now Miles is being compared to the Bear. Last year most LSU fans said he needed to be fired, now he is being compared to one of the all time Greats. Lol
Let's give this about 3 more NC's first, and maybe 10 more SEC championships.
