Jefferson 2
Alabama 1

Jefferson took them by surprise the last two Novembers. If the SEC schedule makers wouldn't have screwed Alabama, and instead given them the entire month of October off both times, they definitely would have won.

Gary Danielson was talking about that. Said Jones wasn't even half the player he was after that. HUGE that he's healthy, along with others.

Big12 officials. I wonder if they are pissed at 'Bama for getting the rematch over OSU?

I've said this before, and it got a lot of flack here. I feel like in the last game when Barret Jones got hurt we couldn't open the pass game with the run anymore and it really shook up AJ on third downs

So Alabama isn't deep enough to handle an injury?

I guess that's what I said, huh?
Yeah. Alabama's recruiting as of late has left them devoid of talent

So are you, or are you not, saying one injury was a HUGE problem the first time? I didn't bring it up, I just asked a question.

They do, but they haven't passed as much as other teams, and they take all of the easy passes. Yes, a deep pass is easy if PA works.

I feel like the one injury was big. Huge? Nah. But I feel like it was big enough to impact which direction we ran the whole game. I do think Bama has a lot of depth on the offensive line, but they have a lot of youth, too. So in a way, they're not deep. And I guess the argument could be made that the one injury was HUGE as you put it because Alabama didn't win the game as an indirect result.

We are, but Barrett Jones is one of the top O-Lineman in the country, if we had Cyrus we would've done better after the injury, but instead Alfred had to go in, he is alright, but he isn't on Barrett's level.

I doubt LSU sleep walks through the first half the way they did for the SEC championship

LSU was did not want to have to play a free game while Bama sits and home and still go to the NCG.

So the answer is "no", you aren't deep enough to deal with an injury and not have it affect the game?

Was LSU's offensive line healthy or did we have injuries? For that matter was our defensive line healthy or were we without a starting DE?
