Yeldon was better than LF as a freshman, sorry.

He also played behind a NFL back and had a competent passing attack to keep defenders honest.

this and the fact that LF is directly responsible for wins against UF and aTm, IMO. LF and the defense.

Hahahaha. Ok math whiz, what's 1,108 divided by 175? 6.33

What's 891 divided by 176? 5.06

Anything else I can help you with?

you said the fact that Yeldon had more carries helps prove your point even more. I mean, do you not understand what I'm saying here?

eta your original post said 154 carries. Your second one said 175, and that it proved your point even more. Understand?

It proved my point that Yeldon had a better freshman season, and out performed LF. I do agree LF will probably have a better career, but you people are delusional if you think LF is a better freshman than TJ was.

And if you want intangibles, he was running behind Eddie Lacy.

Is this supposed to help or hurt your case? Running behind A back like Lacy makes it easier, not harder.

154 carries at 1100 yards, or whatever the exact number was, would prove your point more than him having 175 carries.

How can you not see this???

Yea, who went to the NFL. And Yeldon had a passing game to work off. And had garbage time touches left and right. LF has been keyed on by every team LSU has played, all year.

You misunderstood. I was saying the fact they have almost the exact same carries proves he was better.

And I misspoke, he split carries with Lacy. Which hindered the potential amount of total yards he could have gotten his freshman season.

Like LF split with Magee, Hilliard, and Williams?

Well that doesn't prove your point "even more" as you clearly stated. That's inherently false. I didn't misunderstand anything. I knew what you meant, I was just making a point.

and Fournette has split carries with Magee, Hillard and Williams all year. He's 1 of 5 backs. He only had similar carries to Yeldon because LSU passed like 12 times a game.

Again, he did that with no pass defense and consistently running against 8 men in the box. Let me know when Yeldon can go for over 1000 against 8 men boxes week in and week out.

The point I was making is that you said "that proves my point even more".

Well, no it didn't.

Had we initially said 175 carries, and it was actually 154, then that would prove your point "even more".
