If I'm Hog fan, it's time for the Tyler Wilson era - I think he could be better.

Mallet will be the next NFL bust, physical tools are there no question, the mental side he may never pick up, reminds me of Russell.

Hogs also get award for least holding calls this year, takes the throne from Bama.

Cheer up Hog fans, its basketball season!

I hope like hell Mallett enters the draft. His lack of mobility kills our offense. We are a big play or bust type of offense when we're not feeding Knile Davis.

he has a VERY slow release...in the NFL you have to get rid of the ball faster MUCH faster especially on the run...

kind of reminds me of the Kerry Collins delivery in terms of time it takes to start the throw to ball release...

This.

4th quarter chokes against Bama and OSU killed the team this year when the rest of the team stepped up to put y'all in a winning situation. I mean, come on, punt block, 20 yards to win and he throws a horrible pass to the Dlineman?!?!

Wilson can make all the same throws, but is less of a hick idiot. But at least Pryor makes Mallett sound like a genius.

Mallet can place the ball on the money if he has time, but he gets very nervous when a little pressure is applied to him. He was running out of the pocket before anyone was even near him. His 5 second release does not help him at all.

His will get killed in the NFL. His receivers didn't help him at all last night either.

That was a terrible forced throw into triple coverage last night on that last interception.

But, he has a great throwing motion and a quick release, and can make all the throws.

I concur. I think our chances of improving next year are stronger with Wilson at Qb than with Mallett.

Mallett has been good, but we need a mobile QB.

Not too mention a damn O-line. Has anyone seen them? Tell them they missed the game.

True, even D-Love got his arse handed to him by Ironhead, Jr. and the rest of their D-line

Just didn't look like the same team out there to me. In fact, I told everyone last night that it looked like "Petrino Year 1" that first half.

Agreed, if we would have played like we did last night against LSU, we would still be awaiting our 1st BSC Bowl. Even with a shitty as we played, we were still in the game until the final minute.

I had resigned to the fact that the game was over at halftime. I'm almost pissed they came raring back only to stomp on my damn heart.

I can talk about this all damn day and nothing's going to change, so I think I'm going to leave and get some work done.

he wont make near as much money in 2012 with the rookie maximums after the CBA is re structured.

Him staying a year cost cost him millions.

Agreed Mick. He'll take his lumps like any rookie, but I'm not sure he survives another SEC beating without getting crippled. 'Bama, LSU and MSU will all have better defenses next year IMO.

This. He needs to get drafted by a team where he can continue to develop.....all the while making A LOT more money than those who like to criticize him.
