Which team is designated the home team?

Seems the easy thing is for the game to be played at the home team stadium and for the home team to sign a contract to return the visit in the future.

Stuff like this is one reason I don't like neutral site games.

If it weren't for that fact that Harvey might impact Louisiana this weekend, Baton Rouge as a fail safe option would make sense. So would New Orleans. But, alas, the weather is more than a bit of a wildcard at the moment, and decision time is probably tomorrow. Unless they know that the storm isn't heading for Louisiana early tomorrow, they will probably have to look elsewhere. I'd say there's a better than 50% chance that they conclude south Louisiana this weekend isn't worth the gamble.

You'd like that wouldn't you. 3 years in a row with only 11 games.

Are capable of understanding that LSU can't just call up any stadium in the country and tell them we will be playing a game there this weekend. Apparently, you are unable to do so.

Yet they expect everyone else to accommodate them in the process. Indeed a pathetic bunch.

then the game will either be in Dallas or Orlando

It would have to be Orlando. No way they could get Jerryworld turned around in 2 hours after Mich/Fla

ETA: Provo might an option too

ESPN is calling the shots. LSU and BYU are just along for the ride.

But of course LSU fans want to play closer to home if possible. It make rearranging travel plans much easier and cheaper.

It wouldn't be in Jerryworld. It would be played in the Cottonbowl stadium.

This game needs to be played in a neutral location. LSU can't afford the PR nightmare of having yet another mishandled situation.

Orlando makes the most sense.
