Both teams wore on each other in the 2011 and 2012 games. LSU made the big plays when it counted to win in 2011 and Bama did the same in 2012. End of story.

I actually agree with this completely. That's why I found it odd that the poster I was responding to was trying to claim that LSU "handled" Bama in 2012. Both teams slugged it out in regular seasons of 2011 & 2012. Those games were about surviving long enough to make a play. LSU did it with the run in OT in 2011. Bama did it with the passes late in 2012.

Hey dumbass Bama ony scheduled their OC games.

You have a lot to learn. Alabama clearly scheduled their cross division rivals, and where they played their division rivals. Only team in the SEC with 4 division home games. People don't make up the Alabama schedule manipulation. It is a fact.

Well, A&M will have excuses no matter what

You must be an LSU fan, believe it or not when we lost to LSU last year. Most of the actual non-retarded fans didnt have excuses. We missed makable field goals but that not an excuse that is poor execution. We were the second best team on the field that day.

UF was our first ever SEC game and Manziels first start. Again being outplayed on the field that day. But all in all Ill take both of the games as growing pains.

I think youll realize most of our fanbase (believe it or not) will admit when we didnt show up to play. Of course we have the raging retards that will make excuses.

Saddest part is when LSU fans make excuses for Alabamas loss.

So how about reconsidering that statement.

Bama always going to try and avoid tough competition whenever they can? I understand being a coward is a cornerstone of the capstone, but shite saban has bought the best players in the country.

I think it is time bama quit being scared. I know there is a long history of it to overcome and bama has played the weakest schedule in the SEC for about 50 years now, but anything is possible, right?

Just about everything...except Auburn doing anything to improve our strength of schedule. That's a pretty hopeless task.

really wanted Manziel to play (I refuse to use the stupid arse JFF crap), his lack of preparation and focus, as well as a year to game plan was going to or will lead to a glorious flame out. I really wanted to witness it happen.

You thought this was so good that you're copy/pasting it in multiple threads, I guess.

quote:

If A&M needs a roadmap on how to keep a star player eligible when images of a star player signing autographs that were later sold online surface, they need only look to Alabama, who disputed all suggestions that star players had been paid for autographs by asserting that while players had signed autographs no player had ever been paid for those autographs. Since no one could prove that players had been paid or received any items of value, there was no NCAA violation for signing autographs that were later sold.

Did each individual player sign upwards of a thousand autographs, aggy?

Nice deflection. It'd be better suited aimed at "tu" though.

Scoreless in the second half of the Florida game.
24-12 with less than 90 seconds remaining in the LSU game.

How close was it?
Also make note that Florida and LSU were at the bottom of the SEC regarding passing the football, so they couldn't exploit holes in your secondary.

Seemed to work out ok for us in '12

AJ McCarron's rib injury.
No Jalston Fowler.
Beaten up and hungover team from the LSU game — AJ cried, so there's no denying that the game win was very emotional.
Defense played sloppy — hardly the sign of full strength play.
Supposedly, Barrett Jones was "getting owned".
etc. etc.

At first I didn't want to play A&M without Manziel, since we wouldn't be beating them at full strength. But now that I think about it a little more, A&M losing because of Manziel not playing just further underscores the superiority of the entire philosophy of our football program. Alabama would never be caught in a position where losing one player wrecked an entire season, and we would never let a player's fame get out of hand like Manziel's has.

What if you lost McCarron for the entire season in the Virginia Tech game? Would you be confident with Blake Sims or another backup playing LSU? A&M? Ole Miss? SEC East Champion if you make it that far?

You scored with 20 seconds left to make it LOOK respectable. While LSU had second stringers in there.

I love how the word "fact" is thrown around on this board....you clearly have a lot to learn about the definition of that word.

Its all about coaching.. A&M has poor discipline as since Saban has been at Bama..show me ONE player who has tried to act like they are better than everyone else...shoot.. Saban would eat that player alive...LITERALLY if one did it!
