I guess they only wear 1 shoe in Alabama. I've always worn 2 shoes, but that's just me.
In fact I count shoes by the pair, but then again maybe that's just me. So if I have 2 of the same shoes I would say I have 1 pair of shoes.
I say 49 pairs, Bama fans say 98 shoes--I guess we're on the same page. But then again, if you counted shoes correctly you wouldn't be able to play games with Jarrett Lee's passing numbers.

I thought you meant the police took 98 pairs of shoes from Jordan's apartment. I thought they had only taken 49 pairs of shoes.
I didn't realize that shoes purchased as 1 whole unit, packaged as 1 whole unit, taxed as 1 whole unit, were generally divided in 2 for counting purposes.

I didn't see anything like that. I saw most fans were very grateful for THE EIGHT POINTS LESS PER GAME that Chavis' defense allowed than the year before.
