But if they're still this close, would Saban abandon the system without a clear advantage for one over the other?

By the time LSU rolls around, UA will have played Penn State, Arkansas, and FL...with two of those on the road. Things will sort themselves out accordingly.

True. I certainly don't expect week 1 to be indicative of week 2 or week 10. Just noting that we have a very solid secondary, and if these guys continue to show a propensity to make bad decisions due to their inexperience, it could be a problem. But they won't be inexperienced by the LSU game and they'll have the opportunity to play in front of the home crowd. That will be a big factor.

I still believe LSU's year is 2012.

I will lose my shite if the "Gmac" plan isn't in play. Dump passes and screens ftw against LSU.

I thank the Good Lord every night that it is in Tuscaloosa.

Tennessee has more SEC titles, more national titles, domination head to head, more overall wins, and a better winning percentage.

Yes, you guys are miles ahead of us.

OK OK OK OK....Tennessee and Minnesota and UCLA and Army have better football programs than we do...there you go "happy historian"

Yes Michigan is the best program ever because they've manged a half a title in the last 60 years. I love titles in 1940, they're so important to the current landscape of college football bickering over the ability of fanbases to act superior based on what a bunch of guys did when facemasks didn't exist.

So 2003 is the cut off date of importance, then?

Just wondering when it is. I've already learned that the 40s are meaningless? I'd just like to know when the results became meaningful. That's all.

Of course not, don't be obtuse. But I am realistic in understanding that your title pre-1960 doesn't mean dick. Neither does ours. Well, except for those times when you say "we won this many titles."

At the end of the day, your ability to have more all-times wins and titles is meaningless in the current landscape. You're a good program, we're a good program, and I live in that world.

2010 - 325 yds 21 pts
2009 - 452 yds 24 pts
2008 - 366 yds 29 pts
2007 - 510 yds 41 pts

I'm ok with yall having him.

How bout putting wins and losses by those figures...it'd be more accurate...sometimes numbers don't mean shite...

Had 2 injured RB's, erratic line play and the secondary(Lsu's) was tore up with arguably the 2nd best pass defense in the nation. Chavis is good, no doubt. But he's got weaknesses and Bama seems to be able to exploit them.

Yep, we saw that last year didn't we....

The dates listed were '07, '08, '09, and '10. When did Chavis leave UT?

Does noticing that Lee's passing yards (98) equal the number of shoes the police took from JJ as evidence the same thing as Pattern recognition?

They took 49 I believe.
