If you read this carefully, you will see your inflated sense of self worth peeking out again. Reasonable LSU fans --I among them-- actually want A&M to win.
This is because we hate Bama, but we also respect them as a team. A two-loss Bama team is GREAT for us.

Rooting for a team to win =\= expecting them to win. We expect Bama to beat Aggy. But we will be rooting for Aggy because it suits our interests.

I imagine most LSU fans would like to see Bama lose mostly because it's always amusing. But at this juncture, I'm not sure which outcome would be better for LSU. We don't know yet who (if anyone) we're going to lose to and therefore would potentially need help from somebody beating them in order for us to win the West. Aggy has a chance to make a big run this year. Not a great chance, but a chance. We might need them to lose another game or two.
But more often than not, it's best if Alabama loses as they usually are our biggest hurdle in getting to Atlanta. I believe 2010 is the last time Bama was out of the race before Thanksgiving. It is possible that could happen again this year but I wouldn't bet on it. Odds are Bama will still have just the one loss when we play them.
