bump another team over MSU for the four spot?
Talk about a low way to do it.
If MSU wins I don't see how you can keep them out.

Of course, as they should.

If everyone wins out, like you said, you're talking about 3 1-loss teams/conference winners while MSU didn't win their division.

Also, the best thing MSU has going for them is a quality loss. Let that sink in, the best part of their resume is a close loss. Who are their best wins? An LSU team that could finish last in the division. An auburn team that will end up with 4 losses. An ole miss team that will finish with 4 losses and unranked.

I cannot see it. Especially with TCU not having a championship game. Ole Miss > tu & ISU

I don't know if "have" is the right word there. I think if everyone wins out then the top 4 remains the same.

States best win is over Auburn... MSU needs Auburn to win...

Yeah but MSU's one loss is to the top team in the country. OSU lost to Va Tech!

Baylor played no one out of conference.
TCU beat Minnesota which lost to OSU.

A 2 loss UCLA would have a better argument.

But that's why this whole system was set up, after 2009

Yes because that'll mean their signature wins came against three 8-4 teams and two 7-5 teams and their OOC schedule is still terrible.

Meanwhile assuming one of TCU/Baylor wins the Big 12 and OSU wins the B1G then one of those three will jump State. Then they'll play whomever doesn't get in one of the CFB bowls and State will kill them thus bringing about the necessary controversy to change to an 8 team format.

Yes...but they also beat MSU who is currently ranked 10th and will have won their conference playing against a team ranked abotu 12th.

Their wins far exceed any of MSU's wins.

No.

LSU, the team that beat Wisconsin, the opposite division champ in a shite conference, that will play one of the other one loss teams in a championship game. Let that sink in.

Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Arkansas could all potentially end the season ranked. Something that LSU would not be in that scenario. So that's a pretty stupid assumption, that LSU is our best win. Good one.

Who did Ohio State beat? Who is their loss? fricking Virginia Tech. AT HOME. Baylor? They lost to West Virginia. TCU is the only team that wouldn't have a terrible loss, and the same amount of top 25 wins depending on what happens this weekend, and with no conference championship.

You cannot be that dense.

MSU is SOL, if all the other contenders win out. I would even say, a loss by tOSU, and Baylor, keeps them out.

Unfortunately, I think they will get bumped for a 1-loss conference champ.

I'm sure that not one of Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU, or Texas A&M could beat Michigan State.

A team ranked about 12th that lost to an unranked LSU team. It all sounds so very impressive.

Neither will win it outright. Tie. One loss team. Still technically the same as Mississippi State.

Why? Situations change. Body of work changes. Conference Champions are crowned. It's fluid.

You put any of the west teams in the east and they win the east of the SEC and would play in SEC title game with probably one or two losses including LSU

But they will have won the conference unlike State. It's not fair but that's the way it is.

Uhhh you're right, there's a good chance none of them could. The fact is that ohio state did.

yet still won 10 games and has a final 2 heisman candidate.

You keep propping up LSU, why? Because it makes MSU look better? LSU has 4 frickin losses, 2 of which are baaaaaaaaad losses.
