Let's not take the focus off the most iconic Super Bowl MVP of all time

Of course, he was only the third straight Bama QB to win the SB, so no big deal to us.

And how many of them won Super Bowl MVP's?

Who cares? That's worth about as much as being 2003 SEC West "co-champs"

Deion Branch and Desmond Howard won super Bowl MVPs.

MVP of whole season is way more important.

it's not worthless for Eli or the Giants obviously.

But as far as Ole Miss football goes, yeah it's pretty worthless.

So under this logic I shouldn't care about anything our former players do in the NFL as it's all meaningless to me. So you might want to stop bragging about 10 straight players to the SB.

Will have produced an NFL MVP. None of the Little 8 have done this.

Tenn. fans hold tightly to their big six status but for them it's like grasping two fist of sand, the more that slips through their fingers the tighter they try to hold on, but all that's left is a few grains of sand stuck to their sweaty palms, which is all they have left of their big six status

To be the Super Bowl MVP, you have to be great for 1 game.

To be the NFL MVP, you have to be great for an entire season.

Sometimes. If you had a great season too.

Drew Brees in 2009 comes to mind. Lost MVP to Peyton, but beat Peyton in the Superbowl.

But sometimes the Superbowl MVP just gat a great game.

Would you Rather 2014 Peyton Manning or 2014 Malcolm Smit?

Or Deion Branch in 2005 or Shaun Alexander?

Hines ward in 2006 or LT?

Superb argument there. LSU is clearly #1.
