Cecil definitely shopped him. AU's case isn't built on the fact that he wasn't...
correct at worst I think the only thing that can be proven is that he may be ineligible. If Cecil was paid I am sure Auburn would have covered those tracks and the NCAA will not be able to prove anything.

I'm surprised you could read that with your head up Cam's arse. Stay there, it's your safe place.

You would have to think that 5 people
You're assuming those 5 people all had direct contact with Cecil Newton in reference to money. What if 4 of those people never discussed money with Cecil Newton but instead discussed money only with the 5th person?
Now imagine this what if that 5th person started the whole thing to make money for himself.
That scenario would mean that they didn't have to get together and make up a story.

The lawyer's comments sound a lot like someone trying to get out in front of something.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I would suspect that with nothing but silence up to this point, then statements today which reiterate the point that Cam did nothing wrong, we are on the verge of discovering some known facts about Cecil's misdeeds.
And I'm not guessing they will be in regards to Miss. St.

Right now, I am honestly just hoping that Cecil was shopping around MSU. As much as I would like to think this is all false, there are too many allegations flying for some of them not to be true. If you sling enough shite against a wall, some of it is going to stick.
ETA: not saying all the accusations are shite, but some of them stink like hell.

Keep trashing AU and Cam no worries he will be front and center for the IB and soon enough Tuna's thread will smell rancid like a can of chicken by the sea in 110 degree sun.
We will see more stories in here about cover up and I know they did it rather than Auburn gonna get the death penalty...MSU will be the ones looking at sanctions welcome to HC Mr Mullen.

See... no. I really don't think there is anything else that needs to be said.

Didn't AU coaches say they went to check another prospect out and saw how good Cam was.

So because these schools recruited him they knew he was going to be hands down the best college football player in the country? If that's the case your list should be MUCH longer. Florida obviously had no idea what they had even after having him on campus for over a year. If AU was so desperate for Cam why did they not start recruiting him wayyyy before they did?

I answer your question with a question.
If Cam wanted to go to Miss. St. so bad, why is he at Auburn?

if all of these people were bama people i would give it less credibilty. not because bama is corrupt but because their hatred is incredibly intense. but MSU? MSU has got it going right now for the first time in years. it would have been a hell of a lot easier to just shut up and let it ride.

Not too mention those who might have shown interest but backed off when they heard Cam was a pay-for-play candidate.
These coaches/recruiters talk. They know who's "in play" when it comes to money. Many back off as soon as there is a whisper about having to pay a player.
