I would like to be the first to congratulate the Hog faithful on a well deserved victory

It was a tough game, one for the ages. A battle royal between two historic programs. Unfortunately only one could prevail. Let the date 9/24/2022 forever stand out as the day the Hogs beat the Texas Aggies for the second time since expansion.

The trophy smack is so lame. For one, it wasn’t even a fricking trophy. It was a plaque. And it wasn’t really giving ourselves a plaque - it was a statement of intent for the future.

I would ague that a 9 win season when only 10 games were played and a NY6 bowl victory is as worthy of step 1 as a 10 win season when 12 games are played

The funny part is that they presented this trophy/plaque to Jimbo at the same function where the head coach of Texas A&M Commerce was being honored for his actual DII national championship.
Then your chancellor said the only difference between the two trophies was that Jimbo's had an open ended date.
