They're really good people on a personal level. They're just gigadorks and super cringe about their sports inferiority.

Message boards aren't real life. Always good to have some little reminders not to take the shite talk too seriously. Most CFB fanbases are good folks to know and hang out with in real life.
If I ever run into any of y'all in real life, first round is on me.

Grew up right outside of San Angelo. Decent base but definitely was not a “destination base” for most of the 80s or 90s.
Town is a lot nicer with more amenities than it had for my 25 years there. Did a great job with the downtown revitalization.
My parents actually make most of the plaques and awards for Goodfellow. Probably not the ones pictured.

One of the trademarks of a cult is extreme loyalty. A&M qualifies. These people are totally and insanely devoted to their weird culture. They are a huge embarrassment to the SEC. Given the GOPs new found wokeness when it comes to gays, drag queens, etc. I’m amazed that there hasn’t been a huge uproar over their crotch grabbing toy soldiers and prissy milkmen.

And then there are the true believers who just can't bring themselves to separate message boards from real life.
