Put it this way, he looked better with his helmet off than on, and that says a lot. Ugly mofo, looks like Pat Mahomes incest born little brother.

Yeah, they did. Surprisingly enough.

Don’t really think the good outweighs the bad. I also don’t know how the hell you let your starting QB strut around taking shite to fans with the game still in doubt.

This is the most egregious error on the entire night.

If Franks isn't sitting for the next game, I will be extremely disappointed. He has a lot to learn, and most of it is humility.

How someone can play as badly as he did and not understand it is absolutely incredible.

Most overrated player in the SEC.

No leadership skills. Maturity of a 14 year old!

Lot of correct answers....but a much crappier version of Jordan Jefferson seems most correct.

Kid acts like a punk.

I'm happy that he is the Gata QB.

I sincerely hope he isn't.

If I woke up and heard that he was in the transfer portal tomorrow I would be unbelievably happy.

Of course they got a hold of the clip of him talking shite to the camera only to go out and throw into quadruple coverage.

Worse yet, after his coach told him to focus on the game.

If that doesn't humble him, nothing ever will.

All jokes aside, he’s gonna cost you more games if he doesn’t drastically improve in a very short amount of time

I've seen teams that looked like jr high teams in the first game turn it around and make a run. First games are difficult to analyze, we all know this. UF has some playmakers on both sides of the ball. The O line would be my biggest concern if I was a UF fan, poor O line play can make the best QB look silly. Maybe it was a fluke and miami is really good on the D line

This is his third year starting, put a fork in him, he's done.

He's had so many chances and just always shows everyone how much of a piece of shite he is.

He’s looked the same since he’s stepped on campus... like a QB that has some potential with a little experience. You’ll have to take a few lumps while he develops.

He’s never going to be any good, and he’s too erratic and boneheaded to be a game manager.

It must be frustrating as hell for Florida fans to have to watch him year after year.

He keeps up this act, we will lose at Kentucky, and then Mullen will have a decision to make.

A non-captive of the moment's view:

He's the best option you have. His decision making is going to determine the ceiling on your season. He's got all the tools, and enough coaching to provide a big year for you. Enough to beat Georgia and take the East? Well, there's a shot. Not a good one, but a shot.

Yes, he has bad habits. Yes, that offensive line contributes to them. Yes, he's going to turn the ball over-- but it isn't like Miami is the worst defense you'll see all year. They're a sturdy bunch, and aren't exactly undermanned against an SEC team still finding its feet.

Red zone struggles will drive you nuts; fumbles in those situations should have cost you the game tonight, but didn't.

Accept it for what it is-- a growing year for the rest of the roster, and likely a 9 win season.

You guys still think Mullen is some sort of Svengali QB whisperer?

Sorry,Franks didn't improve "greatly" last year as one UF poster said and he still looks like the same guy this year. He's got the physical tools (except for accuracy) but is a basket case upstairs.

When you're a RS JR and you're still having growing years, maybe you're just not cut out for the position.

Also, the OL did fine. He was barely touched all game and had plenty of time to throw. This is solely on his shoulders.

Miami's defense was getting cut up by very vanilla playcalling, if we had a QB worth half a shite we would have hung 30+ easy.

We would have went into halftime 28 - 3 if he could read defenses and make accurate throws.

Mullen masked Franks' problems (as I said), but man this is 100% on Franks. We know Mullen can turn out extremely good Quarterbacks and when he leaves a team their QB play goes straight down the drain.

In the end, it's less about his capability as a QB coach and more about his ego and trying to make Franks into an NFL QB.

The kid has no future at the position outside of the XFL or Canadian Football League. He never did. You cannot teach a kid to process the field faster when he's just plain stupid. Franks is completely oblivious that he played like shite and Mullen is without very many answers behind him.

I'd prefer to take my lumps now with a QB who has a future at the position than keep trying to make Franks work.

You guys at least got the victory and escaped the game w/out any key injuries... obviously the 2 most important factors.

Your O-line is gonna have to improve moving forward or AU,LSU and UGA are all gonna give you fits with their front 7's

Your defense is obviously talented and very good but looks like it lacks depth and WHY was CTG blitzing so much? Your D-line had a massive advantage over Miami's O-line. I get the 13 sacks deal but he still created gaps in the defense for Enos to exploit.1st and 20 and he goes with a corner blitz?WTF?
