I mean, it was ok turnout. If you live within a few hours and it's a nice day with nothing going on it's worth a trip to campus for the day. But in the end it's a practice that's on TV, not sure why anyone would drive farther than an hour or so to go. But to each his own.

They have 20k there maybe this year

There were other events in town today & major traffic work by the University. Could be a factor. I didn't go because of the traffic shite.

I agree I don't think I went to all LSU ones as a student. You can't tell if one side is good or other side sucks.

This was late 90s

I think you have amazing turnout. I think those numbers are bullshite wonder process to get

I wouldn't go to an A-DAY, even if I lived in Alabama. Maybe if I had kids. But it's just a scrimmage. This year's was the most I've watched in years. And that's mostly because I had it on while cleaning, and it was surprisingly competitive and fun to watch. Usually, it's boring, vanilla football. They threw it do a lot today.

I would consider going and probably not go. It's not a knock on Bama fandom. LSU is doing tonight we might get uptick and probably not touch 20k

I went when I was in school just to see things but usually left at halftime. The last one I went to was the first one under Saban when the entire stadium was full. Georgia had a similar effort last year.

Was it 90k full?

Wonder logistics of putting 90k without full game day ramp up

Assigned tickets etc

Yea it was literally filled to the brim.

I lived 2000 feet away so I didn't worry about logistics haha.

Lol

We're there assigned tickets or they fill section and close it?

Did they expect 90k? That's the kind of unexpected crowd that could get folks trampled like the English Soccer match

I hear you. I've taken my kids a few years. But, we don't go every year. I guess others are the same. I'll just watch the video later when it is posted.

I have never gone, but I assume it is General admission. First come first serve. Before 2007, Alabama always had the upperdeck closed off. I think back in the 90s they generally only had one half of the lower bowl filled.

We're still pissed at them for not winning the Natty. It's called the Shame Technique. They better get better.
