2d bite at the apple. Georgia has a better team and Venables showed how to play defense against alabama. Just hope Kirb doesn't crap the bed like he usually does against Alabama with some really bad on field decisions on game day.

I am making this edit to clear something up because posters have questioned me calling him Kirbo. I want to make it clear this nickname is not a pejorative epithet. I like Kirby and have gained great respect for him. I believe he is the best coach in college football at this time.

LSU fans dick riding UGA against Bama is pretty pathetic, but its basically tradition at this point.

Should be a pretty good game. Both teams are bit banged up but Bama probably a little more so. Bama has the psychological edge thing going on.
2 solid QBs. I'd say our D is probably a little better, but with our starting center out, I'd give them the edge on the OLine.
I won't even make a call. The 2 big dogs face off once again. The more things change in the SEC, the more they stay the same.

I didn't know until this week that Georgia is dead last in the SEC in sacks/pressures. If I heard that correctly, that's a wild stat considering Kentucky exists.

Eh, statistically, you might be right. We are #6 in rushing D and was in the top 10 in scoring last time I looked. But I digress, I haven't saw Bama's #s lately.

No way to know how this one goes. Anybody that says they have the inside scoop is lying. A funny bounce of the ball, a dropped pass, fumble or a refs call will likely determine the outcome.

the alabama response is why I don't like alabama fans. they can't enjoy winning. it's just not enough. they have to rub your nose in it.
Alabama has been super lucky with the 2 greatest coaches of all time. Kentucky ran the Bear off because of basketball. Saban always wanted to coach in the pros so he left LSU. when he was ready to come back to college the LSu job wasnt' open.
They just can't have fun winning unless they are pissing on everyone else. You know what? they haven't figured out that they are pissing in the wind.
