I've only ever seen Aggies rush the field once, against Nebraska in 2010, and that was from people who were on the track and were encouraged to do so by the players.I think besides that game we've only done it once or twice, so no worries.

If we happen to pull out a win against the defending national champions and what could possibly be the #1 team at that time, then yes, we will probably rush the field. You can either take that as a compliment or be disgusted, your choice.
We won't rush the field after a win against Vandy or Kentucky. We didn't rush the field when we beat Texas who is loathed around here so it certainly won't happen against those teams.
If we rush the field if we beat UGA then yes, I will be disappointed. I don't think it will happen but since it will be our first SEC game, and especially if something like Game Day is there and it is a night game, then I can see where it could happen with a bunch of tanked up fans. I don't think it will, and I hope it doesn't, but it is possible.

Yeah, because saying "if we happen to..." just exudes confidence. I'm not saying we will likely beat Bama or UGA. In fact, the whole reason we would possibly rush the field is because it would be a huge upset.

The only time it's appropriate to rush the field is when your "god of a coach" is giving autographs during fan day. Especially if you're looking to have your baby autographed by the little midget.
