I still don't understand why Ole Miss didn't spy Beck on the last TD

goal-to-go from the 3 and to just totally ignore the QB is an insane defensive call with a spot in the natty on the line.

You're thinking of a different Beck run for a 1st down.

On Beck's TD, there was no spy.

Oh that’s right.

Yeah it was apparently Golding’s decision to not spy Beck. That’s your head coach ole miss.

I am sure Ole Miss fans have figured out a way to blame this on the refs.

OM had the 9th ranked defense in the SEC and gave up 20 or more points in eight games, including 35 against Arkansas and 43/34 vs Georgia. Felt it was going to bite them at some point and last night it did.

No matter. Was a great game. Ole Miss at least played in the 2 best games of the year and won one of them.
