I agree with Ed O.

And that’s fine, but agreeing with Ed and saying that there was never a disagreement between the two are two totally different things

Maybe I would buy this except if Bo Pelini’s defenses weren’t routinely getting torched year after year, game after game, against misdirection based, up tempo offenses prior to his most recent stint at LSU.

We got lit up against these offenses when he was our D coordinator. He got lit up outside of 1 year at Nebraska where he had Suh. And there is a reason he was at Youngstown state and nobody else would touch him.

You obviously don't like Ed O but at the same time, you are obviously a very dedicated and extremely obsessed Bo Pelini hater.

Meanwhile, never mind the fact that Bo Pelini's defense was one of the top defenses in the country and also one of the biggest reasons why LSU won the 2007 Natty, you are so dedicated with hating and demonizing Bo Pelini, that it is nothing for you to besmirch Pelini's 2007 LSU defense.

In other words, in your warped mind, nothing Bo Pelini did or does is worthy of anything other than scorn and vilification.

I get it. You hate him, obsessively.

In his prime Bo was a pretty good hand as a DC. Particularly when he had a ton of talent to work with.

I think what did him in the second time around at LSU was that he was well past his sell by date and had been out of the SEC for too long. You don't come in, as a DC, after 5 years at Youngstown State to an SEC program and not have a miserable first year.

History doesn't lie when Odom goes from being a very good coach on defense and did well against Florida, and Tennessee. Then the second time around with the same HCs and his defense get spanked! Better be ready when your team plays the same teams that won last year. Odom just doesn't/can't figured out how to keep winning against those he did well the first time around!
