Still is! D.S. has j.h. to throw him the ball.

J.C. has j.b.. big difference!

How did tOSU miss out on Burrow?
It still blows my mind to this very day..

I'm thinking Urb or Day would have gotten at least 1 ring if not 2 out of him..

Thank goodness for the portal or else J.B. would be ringing up sales at a sporting goods store.

Well, they are both 10 year veterans, so its easy to see the bust vs the hall of famer.

There is absolutely no debate now.

They are both definitely gone from the SEC

So you finally admit Burrow was the superior QB from the GOAT team. I guess time makes people come to their senses after all.

InsecureLSU

Why are you so dense?

Chase has Burrow a heisman winning qb with a great supporting cast

Smith has Hurts who didn't play against Burrow..

Yes, Burrow is great! The offense of Jefferson, chase and Ceh plus Burrow was able to mask a lot of deficiencies on that 19 team.

Namely, their defense which at times was div II level.. once in a blue moon they'd show up enough..to get 1 or 2 stops and that was about all Burrow and co. Needed..

Bama was on dire straits that season reeling from injuries to many of it's top players and still had a chance of pulling out the win..

But, they didn't and y'all went on to have a great season.. greatest no. Still congratulations for something that happened in 2019!

I guess it's all you have to lean on and that's ok..however, sad.

They scored at will and mercy kneed? Hurts played against Burrow in the first round of the playoffs...well if you call what he did "playing."

For those wondering:

Ja’Marr Chase:
35 catches
754 yards
6 TDs

DeVonta Smithy:
28 catches
345 yards
1 TD

Jaylen Waddler:
44 catches
344 yards
3 TDs

Smithy and Waddler combined:
72 catches
689 yards
4 TDs

Chase also has 4 (soon to be 5) Rookie of the Week awards and 1 (soon to be 2) Rookie of the Month awards.

The debate ended when Smith won the heisman while Chase opted out.

Who gives a shite what they do in the NFL?

Smith was on of the best college receivers I have ever seen. That's why he won the Heisman.

I don't understand why people on tRant like to compare players from their college days to NFL days. Huge difference and scenarios. Doesn't make sense too me.

UCLA, Kentucky, Auburn, Old Miss straight up embarrassed LSU this season.

Chase? You mean the guy who quit LSU, opted out, sat in sidelines, who hasn’t seen the campus since 2019? In the meantime, a disaster has overwhelmed LSU… but that’s ok, 2019…

I guess you need something to root for… pros, alumni, pros passing $100 bills, whatever.

Kinda seems like he won the Heisman* because the two WR’s better than him didn’t play
