I really thought CJP would turn them into a winner.

When he was in Athens he demanded perfection and almost got into a fist fight about it.

But it turns out he is just another dullard.

Too bad.

Some people are great assistants and not very good HCs. The list is long but just in this conference it seems like great DCs being subpar HCs has been is a common theme:

Jeremy Pruitt
Will Muschamp
Kevin Steele
Gene Chizick

I think he is leaving a significant impact on the direction of the program that will stay with UTk for years beyond his departure. to CJP!

SEC is a quarterback league now. If you don’t have a really good one you are going to be mediocre at best. His quarterback situation was awful.

I always heard he was nothing but a cancer. He was run out of town on a rail at FSU for some type of inappropriate relations BS. He was never a head football coach, even at the high school level. Never understood his appeal; nothing but an old hothead.

And Smart will be added after Georgia gets over the Richt effect......takes them 10 to 15 years to figure out 9 or 10 wins a year doesn't quite cut it unless you are a mediocre team like auburn (see all the connections to auburn on the list) and Georgia isn't mediocre.

In reality, what coach could turn around the Phat Phil Sh!t show in 3 years?

He’s a bumpkin. This outcome was incredibly predictable.

This is why I was skeptical of him as a head coach.

The guys he worked for leading up to the UT job understood that professionalism is a key part of being the leader of a big time program.

Pruitt was trying to overtake Kiffin's record for screwing coeds and his wife told him to leave FSU and straighten out or she would get a very public divorce.
