This natty or irrelevant mantra only exists on the rant... There is no reason you should be supporting it... Particularly in this case where you're essentially saying that a top 10ish all time program has been "irrelevant" since 1980... Let alone that Clemson's was more recent even prior to last year and that they've been in the playoffs three years in a row now...
