I went down the 2024 final top 25

You think Bama is going to hire a coach outside of the top 25?

Sumrall would have definitely been better

They might have come to this conclusion if they did a more thorough search instead of making a……wait for it…..panic hire because they were scared lol

Why not? If they did a more thorough search maybe they would have found the better option.

Nah. Deboer was a bad hire from day one. This isn’t hard.

So your 2 brilliant suggestions ITT are

1. Hire nobody

2. Hire somebody outside of the top 25

Compared to the guy who just led Washington to a title game appearance?

We are a few posts away from the 3rd pane

So in January of 2024, your better option just led Troy to an 11-2 season?

With only 1 other year of HC experience?

You think in January of 2024, he was a better choice than the guy who just coached Washington to title game appearance? Who has been a HC in FBS since 2020?

I'm not shocked the point went over your head

The risk of losing the top option is why they acted quickly.

Are you just pretending, yet?

Of course.

Anyone with a brain could see that deboer wouldn’t be able to handle this job lol

Why is this so hard for y’all lol

According to you lol

A more thorough search would have given them better options.

Instead they……..WAIT FOR IT……panicked lol

How silly did you feel offering up Sumrall as your alternative

And your better option had evidence of this with 2 years at Troy?

I mean his upgrade was Tulane. Even now, you think he's shown he can handle Bama by dealing with the tough Tulane fanbase/boosters?

Not at all.

But bama being bama wouldn’t “hire the guy from Troy” even if he was the better option
