He’s a solid QB overall and yes at one point had beat out Mond until his own injury. Has a tendency to force a few throws that he shouldn’t, and isn’t the greatest at making reads (although neither is Mond) but he may be better at it now as we haven’t seen him play much in the last year.
Big negative against him is he’s a statue in the pocket. Like old man Payton Manning playing on the broncos type of immobile. Not the end of the world if your system doesn’t need a mobile QB, but he didn’t move well within the pocket at all.
Overall he’s not bad if y’all land him. We would have liked to have kept him as a backup to Mond in case he gets hurt.
Oh. And he likes Justin Bieber so he’s your gay problem now.

I know there’s a lot of joking on this thread, but I just want to reiterate that Nick seems like a really great guy. People expected him to win the job, and then he didn’t. But he never did anything but root for his teammates and demonstrate really excellent character. He’s a guy who likes to have fun and mess around, which is why he wears the Bieber shirt. But he’s seriously a great guy, and I hope he makes somebody a great starting QB.

I think he ends up at FSU which kind of makes me sad, he seems like a great young man.

I was shocked when he didn't beat out Mond last year. He is a better passer than Mond. His strengths are accuracy and arm strength. His weaknesses are lack of mobility and holding on to the ball too long (which leads to bad decisions). He needs to go to an air raid type team, which a decent OL, as he is a statue in the pocket.
He is a great kid, I had hoped he would go the Okie State. He reminds me a lot of their recent QB's.
