Ocean Springs is a cool town,
The Lady May there in OS has the best brunch on the coast. Great place to chill at during the day

South MS all day everyday.
Mississippi's a great state.
I'd love to see the difference in cost of living from say a 2BR Apt in Miami as opposed to a 2 BR in Biloxi or D'Iberville

As did I. It was great to be working making money in my early to mid 20's right out of college and still be able to go out and party with college aged people and chase women. Man I miss it.

I listed Mississippi as one of the three states Id move to. Ive never been there, Arkansas, or Louisiana. So why I picked Mississippi and then ssid I wouldnt Arkansas? I dont know. I needed a third wouldnt state. Had a buddy I used to work with, black dude from Little Rock, ex army whos girl was from here. Talked about how rough Little Rock is. Jaded my impression. Ive just always felt like Mississippi is akin to Kentucky....people underestimate and stereotype the state, when in reality Kentucky is a great place to live. I imagine outside of Jackson, theres some solid mid sized city/towns where you can have a nice life and raise a family.

Little Rock would suck. NWA might be the best place of them all.

Moved from Miami to Nashville about 10 years ago and the 2 bedroom ~1100 sq ft apartment we moved into was about half what we were paying for a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom.
I'm assuming in D'Iberville you could get a decent house for the price of rent in Miami

Happy for you. Don’t think I could ever live long term outside of the South, except for maybe the non liberal part of the North West
