Everyone else does, too.
Arnett should still be fired for malpractice, though. Why you take a race car and try to turn it into a plow horse is beyond me.

Today really showed how great a coach he was. He did way more with less and made it look simple and stress free
I hate how great people and personalities die young. The Leach people didn’t know is what’s missed the most. Like how he had a favorite restaurant in Starkville owned by a black woman, and the restaurant was on verge of bankruptcy due to covid BS and Leach quietly paid off the owners debt in full
He has a positive influence on ton of people and was just more than a football coach. He was a positive attribute to the community. Why do genuinely good people die young while pieces of shite seem to live forever? I’ll never understand it

I swear to you, and I mean this, I am not even sure if he liked football that much. But he did love to fish, the true mark of a great man!

Leach was a guy who loved football but loved life more. He isn’t like Saban where his job consumed his life.
Leach loved the fans, the media, his hobbies. He wasn’t a serious uptight guy, he loved to learn and study things. I think that’s why he chose the jobs he did, he didn’t care as much about winning a Natty or a dynasty or a high stress high paying job. He wanted small town life with down to earth fans and to bring their school some success, he wanted to be a positive in their community and be able to enjoy his life without the high stress of high expectations.
I don’t think he disliked football, he just saw it for what it is. A game. And there’s more to life than football

I love that Leach lived in the Keys in the off-season and hung out at a bar.
He’s similar to Steve Spurrier in that he wasn’t going to make coaching football his life, and he was going to enjoy his time and not take it too seriously while most coaches work themselves to death and sacrifice free time and not being a family man.
Leach was one of a kind. He was profoundly curious and could carry on a conversation with quite literally anyone about quite literally anything.

I so wanted to go fishing with him, (through a mutual friend) I really thought this year would be it but he died and then it was a miracle I didn’t follow him up and die 6 months latter.
When he was on break after the Texas Tech bullshite he worked for Sirius Sports radio and lived in the keys and you could literally hear him casting on the radio shows, it was so awesome.
I would call in and ask what are you catching, and we would actually give you a fishing report.
I mean that’s freaking awesome!
