I like Dak Prescott and respect Miss State but Dak is not the best qb in the SEC

Josh Dobbs
Maty Mauk
Are all in contention for the best in the SEC. People will say Jeremy Johnson, Allen, and Dobbs haven't played full seasons but their talent speaks for itself

I'm happy for State, but one clip from 20 years isn't enough to bird about much less Crow.

If you have problems with Dak then you have huge problems with Jeremy Johnson. His accuracy is inconsistent at best. I think he'll be solid in Gus's offense but the hype surrounding his arm is more due to an echo chamber effect than anything. Duke routinely bails him out on subpar throws on film.

Mmmm, maybe Dobbs, and possibly Johnson. I won't say Brandon Allen is the best in the SEC because going into this season he isn't.
Mauk is... a bumpy road. He has big highs but deep lows.

That's why I didn't include Allen but if yall have a good season I believe he can be in the McCoy type of light

Inconsistent at best? What are you basing this on? Most people say he's the best Auburn QB in 25 years outside of Cam. Malzahn loves him and consistently said last year he has the best back up QB in all of college and he could start for 10 SEC teams as a sophomore. Gus just doesn't say those types of things.

Prescott is the best QB in the SEC right now period. Until somebody else can perform better, it remains that way. There are many candidates, but they haven't done it yet.
