No, not by any measure they currently use to pick the teams. That doesn't mean that they wouldn't likely beat 3 of the 4 playoff teams on a neutral field though.

With Bamas logic, we would just pencil them in every year according to their recruiting class. But you have to play the games, you lost twice. Sorry no medal.

Well yeah…Bama should be penciled in every year lately. Not inked in until the games are played but penciled in at the start of the year for now sure. Seldom has it not happened.
