I have never seen a QB improve as much in one season as Burrow

It's unworldly...he was considered probably the fifth or sixth best QB and was in the Mond/Franks group far before the Tua/Lawrence group this preseason.

Obviously the first group has been set back(Monds and Franks) by injury and playing highly touted defenses.

Wait...that's weird. Cause I know Franks and Mond had stellar stats last season vs sub 100 passing defenses didn't they?

Or even this season....

Franks 25 - 27 270 yards 2 TD vs the Texas defense equivalent New Mexico State
12-17 for 174 yards and a TD(UK is better than most defenses on LSU's schedule as well)

Mond -
Lamar - 20 of 28 317 Yards
Texas State - 19 of 27 for 3 TD!!
Arkansas - 23 of 35 for 3 TDs!!!!

Weird...so the same group Burrow was in preseason only looked bad.....verse.....good defenses? Miami has a top 25 defense. Clemson and Auburn have top 25 defenses. I guess....competition....matters?

Well this obviously won't hold true for Burrow. He magically became elite, despite not being so last year...or the years before. Suddenly adding a passing game coordinator magically changed Burrow from an average, middle of the pack guy to elite overnight. Right?

Or maybe....just maybe...an open passing game exploits sub par secondaries and showcases higher points vs bad competition by default because it scores more points at a higher rate than a balanced or run first approach.

Burrow is not magically elite, air raid style just makes sub par defenses look worse. Smoke and mirrors.

Just like Nix vs Mississippi State. Good QBs look great vs bad defense. Burrow will not put up jaw dropping stats tomorrow. He will go back to average, because he is.

He scored quite a bit vs Miss State.

Just like Burrow vs Texas.

Don’t fret. Your team’s loss tomorrow may have a silver lining... once you give up on your football team, you’ll once again pay more attention to the little things that make you happy... like your bug zapper.

So, Texas and State are on par. We'll just stop reading you now.

The offense is a step ahead of the others in the league. Brady is doing something DCs in college haven't seen before. And your offense is trash once again.

Yeah..

Mond not Monds.

Burrow is throwing 4-6 TDs a game. Not 2-3.

Troll aside this wasn’t a Joe Burrow issue it was an LSU offensive philosophy issue. The only thing that may change is when LSU faces a defense that can pressure the QB will their OL hold up, will Burrow be close to as effective and will Orgeron rein the offense in to protect him better like last year.

He'll do well. He's cocky confident, and a game rat, fruit of a coach as well, if I'm not mistaken.

The game is in his blood.

Will he do well enough? Ah, we've yet to see.
