Let be honest here. Purple and gold isn't exactly fashionable unless you're at an LSU function.

Second that last answer was interesting at best. When asked if Ala was the ideal place him to be he doesn't just directly answer the question.
He starts by saying "I don't think uh uh I think Ala is a great place to be" he went on and on about how college football is the place for "The Sabans". He says (in this order) We loved our explerience here (meaning LSU, not Ala), we loved our experience at MS and we've loved our experience at ALA but we found out how college football can have an impact on a young man etc.

That caught my attention too. I haven't heard him speak since last season and he seemed to speak of LSU with fondness at that time as well.

Maybe he left a little piece of his heart (though some may question the presence of that particular organ) in Baton Rouge.

I now fully realize Bama fans do not get Nick Saban.
Nick looks at this job as just his job. He's employed by Bama and he is doing his job. Nick has said many times he loved his experience at LSU and made a mistake by leaving. He's returned to the city and stadium that represents his finest accomplishments as a head coach in college football. When Nick Saban leaves Bama I guess maybe Bama fans might wise up and get it. Nick Saban is just doing his job at Bama. Nick Saban is not a Bama fan. If he were a Bama fan he would be wearing Crimson where ever he appeared publicly representing Alabama football.

Jeez Scoop, how many times have you started threads about Saban's clothing choices in the last two years? Are you auditioning for "Queer Eye for the Coaching Guy"....?

He does and will always want you to understand that he is the man who controls you and not the other way around.

I'm not so sure he's wearing a purple blazer. I think the color is just f***ed up in the video. The Sugar Bowl background which I know is blue even looks purple. Scoop I think you can relax!

His suit looks blue to me, not purple.

His answer to the reporter's question regarding whether or not Bama is the "ideal place" for him is still very peculiar. He obviously dodged giving a straight answer there.

Rumors coming out of New Orleans is that Saban is going to coach the game wearing the Mike the Tiger costume. I do not have a link but that is what I am hearing.
