No shite does not want to play us again. I don't blame him.
So which is it? Other Bama posters have alleged Miles and other LSU players, "want Bama again." If you're insinuating Miles would be intimidated to play Bama again in Nola, you don't understand Miles at all.

He said what he said out of respect, which is something your dumb arse knows nothing about
Point me in the direction of one thing I said that was disrespectful about Bama. I understand what respect is. I saw it from Miles and LSU players all praising Bama with respect before and after the game. What did the Bama players do: whine, cry, and stutter about how they lost the game, LSU didn't earn it and they are still the better team. They were completely unable to give LSU's players any semblance of praise when across the field multiple LSU players and Les were praising Bama. Even in defeat, it's always got to be about Bama. (TR was the exception.)

One thing you guys cannot deny....ESPN influences college football to a disturbing degree.
Slight fix. Maybe a distinction without a difference.

And Les Miles still wants a rematch!!!
You think if you say this often enough, it will (i) make it true, and (ii) influence someone whose opinion matters to make it happen?
Les said the polite, respectful thing toward a 'Bama program he respects when asked whether he would welcome a rematch. He could have said, "We will be happy to play whoever the system sends up against us." Or he could have said (Saban-like), "Screw off! I'm not thinking that far ahead.". Instead, he chose to say something nice toward the team that had just sustained a bitterly disappointing loss. Don't try to make it more than it is in hopes that it will help get a rematch that you desperately want and Miles is, at best, indifferent about.

I am not other Bama posters, so I am not sure what that has to do with me...

with the exception of Maze, point me in the direction of any of our players whining?

Do I really need to do this??

I apologize if I am wrong, but I have not seen really any of the player interviews, and I really don't believe you that no one on our team gave LSU any kind of praise.

It means either you are wrong or they are. The two are mutually exclusive.

Yes. I'd venture you deflected with a question because you can't put your money where your mouth is -- bc I have said nothing disrespectful about Bama.
quote:

quote:
"We are still the best team in the country," 'Bama wide receiver Marquis Maze said. "If we played them again, we wouldn't lose."
quote:
"It was nothing they did, it was all on us," Tide wide receiver Darius Hanks said when asked about LSU's defense.
quote:[Hanks]
"Alabama is still the better team," he said. "Definitely."
quote:
It was like the verbal version of the LSU punter and kicker, the most insanely cocky special teams duo in the country, all taunty and talky except without a 'W' to be all taunty and talky about. And this post-loss swagger came directly from 'Bama coach Nick Saban's message to his team afterward, although he merely hinted around that conclusion himself when talking to the media. What he told his players and what they believe is they beat themselves, and LSU was merely the beneficiary.
quote:
"It's going around the locker room. I could see it on everybody's face," Richardson said. "We felt like … we still feel like we are the best team out there even though they did win the ball game."

So, while LSU players and Miles were giving Bama praise, Bama players and Saban were too busy explaining why, even after a loss, they were still the best team in the country. I guess your guys need not only a lesson in humility, but also one in logic and reasoning.

Glad to see you coming around. I have to admit, after the Ole Miss debacle a couple years ago , I was ready to show him the door, although I still liked him as a person just not as HBC at the time. Needless to say , Ive come around myself.

Tider, I would also love to play Bama again. But it has to be fair. Let LSU forfiet the SECCG and let's get it on in the Dome. If Bama wins, then we must play a +1, two out of three.
It's only fair. "nothing's fair in life" but it could be in football at this point in time.

How can you expect the Alabama team to concede a loss when their angry elf of a head coach can't even acknowledge it? For cripes sake already....where has sportsmanship in Alabama gone? Is there no one in the entire fan base who is big enough a person to say "Good job LSU. Y'all beat us today. Today on that field on November 5. 2011 you guys were the best team !!" I hope you win it all for the SEC.

The world seems to be just now discovering what many of us have known for a long time, Les is a great coach, a great husband, a great father, and a great human being who just happens to be an elite football coach. I wouldn't trade him for any other coach in the country. He has out-coached Saban, as you've said 2 years in a row, and frankly, I think Coach Miles approach to coaching is more attuned to the young guys coming out of high school today than Nick's coaching philosophy (make 'em scared of you...very, very scared of you)... Yep, we'll keep our unorthodox speaking, slightly goofy coach who still thinks of college football as a game which should be approached with a sense of fun...Rematch? Bring it on...we'll run wide more and smoke your oversized LBs and we'll bring our special teams with us.

No he's not. He's CooCoo for Saban.
