I guess Alabama 2020 must have been better than LSU 2019 overall if Jones is worse than Burrow despite having better rating.

He was the trigger man for an offense that averaged more ppg against an all power 5 schedule. Had a higher efficiency rating and better TD/ Int ratio. Didn't get to stat pad against 3 cupcakes and a no defense playing, Big 12 team.
He also did it without his best weapon in Waddle for half the season.
Burrows season is hyped because LSU offense had been trash for a over a decade and he had only thrown 16 TDs in 13 games as Junior. Honestly Tua was having a better year before the Tennessee injury. He also had a higher efficiency rating in 2019.
It was unexpected and a undoubtedly great, but was bested just one year later.

Neither one went 1st overall or even 1st in their position group. Feel free to correct me if I’m not remembering correctly.

There has been a concerted effort by the lack of effort to rant on the rant and it was simply inexcusable.
So someone had to step in and properly shite on LSU with facts that cannot be denied due to their inferiority in almost all ways.
