I doubt it if a harder schedule SEC team has 3 losses. TX would have to hope to to win a tiebreaker with another 6-2 SEC record team to make the SECCG and make it in by winning the game.

Exactly... what people fail to see is, contrary to popular belief, there is a definite bias against the SEC in the committee and among many sports writers. If three teams in the SEC have a better resume than Texas, they won't go (in my opinion) and we will see another lesser team selected over them to keep the committee from ridiculous accusations of "sec-bias." But hey - I could be wrong

We'll see. I find that Texas tends to get the benefit of the doubt and then everyone else cries about it. I'm not too concerned about it.
